Meet Our Team of Expert AV Consultants
Trent Perkins – Founder, Audio Visual Technical Consultant, & Live Sound Engineer
Trent Perkins is the founder of Whole Hearted Pro AV. Trent’s passion for all things audio visual began in college. After college, Trent toured for nearly three years with the Liberated Wailing Wall, a ministry of Jews for Jesus, as the bus driver and sound technician. During this time, Trent had the privilege of working with an array of amazing soundboards. However, he observed a significant number of smaller church sound systems that needed some work, leading him to offer his guidance to enhance these systems without the need for additional equipment. This was when his passion was born to help churches share the message of salvation in Jesus. But God needed to mature him by sending him to the military at the age of 32, where he trained as an electronics repairman for Military Intelligence systems before serving as a Military Intelligence officer for 11 years Active Duty and 8 more in the Reserves, from which he retired in 2024.
In 2014, while stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ, God gave Trent the green light to start Whole Hearted Productions, eventually leading to Whole Hearted Pro AV in 2016. Now with nearly a decade of growth behind him, Trent continues to master his craft and passion by studying, experimenting with new software, and staying ahead of industry trends to ensure that his community’s needs are always met with the utmost precision and excellence.
Jeff Mashaw – Director of Operations & AV Technical Consultant
Jeff is a Tucson native with a Bachelors in Psychology from Arizona State University and recently completed his Masters of Divinity from Gateway Seminary. Jeff started out serving in the tech booth as a high school student and has been on church staffs for 20 years. Jeff has served in a variety of roles from youth and worship to lead pastor. As a worship minister at a large church in Kansas, he was responsible for a $250,000 AV install as part of a 700-seat worship center that took place at his church. He has also served in tiny churches and understands trying to make things work on a shoestring budget. Jeff understands what it’s like to be on the customer side of the audio-visual process.
Jeff was Trent’s worship pastor in Tucson, and he is grateful to take a break from full-time ministry to help Trent with Whole Hearted Pro AV. Jeff is an incredible asset to the company, having created a new database and business management system, enabling the company to function more efficiently. In addition to maintaining the office, Jeff is also a very valuable technical resource, specializing in video livestreaming, networking, presentation software, and computerized lighting control solutions.
Jon Kim – AV Technical Consultant & Project Developer
Jon is Whole Hearted Pro AV’s newest team member and moved to Tucson from Utah, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Composition, a second Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Audio, and an Associate of Applied Science in Film Production. While studying at school, he gained several years of practical experience as the AV tech director at his church.
Jon’s main role is to assist with project development. He, along with Trent, will help you solve your AV troubles and realize the full potential of your audio visual systems.
Aldo Higuera – Lighting Director & Head Installer
Aldo graduated from Rio Rico High School, where he was very involved with the theater department as a sound and lighting technician. Aldo has been with Whole Hearted Pro AV since 2022 as an extremely valuable member of the team. His skills as a professional installer are excellent, meaning the “AV magic” happens without a sign of how we do it! In addition, Aldo has become quite adept at lighting design and operating light shows for everything from theater to concerts.
Dylan Bush – Audio Visual Technical Consultant
A born and raised New Yorker, Dylan Bush’s audio visual exposure was sparked when he decided to pursue a life in music. However, God and his infinite wisdom had other plans before Dylan even knew who God was. At the age of 25, Dylan came to Jesus and has since been engaged in full time ministry. In addition to his role as a production pastor in Phoenix, Dylan is also the founder of the Church Support Network, a company which provides web design, graphic design, administrative support, accounting services, and sound system solutions for houses of worship.
In 2018, Dylan came on board with Whole Hearted Pro AV to assist with audio, video, and lighting projects. While this partnership began as a way to contribute to Dylan’s ministry, his vast experience soon became a key asset to the team.
