In preparation for the Arizona Ministry Network Conference and other events, our friends at Harvest Church in Glendale, AZ asked us to expand their church stage lighting. We had designed the original LED lighting system (as well as the Martin Audio sound system); now the task was getting it from “good” to “great.”
The original stage lighting design was already quite functional, so we focused on providing extra flair and impact. We began with two ADJ Entour Venue faze machines (i.e. water-based hazers, producing a finer mist than a fog machine) to allow light beams to visibly materialize in the air. We then provided ten ADJ Focus Hybrid fixtures along the sides and bottom of Harvest’s LED video wall, taking full advantage of their extensive functionality to create eye-catching beam and motion effects for performances.
Our company owner, Trent Perkins, put all these new tools to great use in a custom light show for the Arizona Ministry Network Conference, programming the church’s ChamSys QuickQ 20 lighting console with beautiful and electrifying real-time commands. It was a dazzling experience!
